Video Review By Israel Ramirez
I am by no means expecting a professional level edited review, BUT is it really that hard to know what you are showing us? You seem very unsure of the names of some of the figures, you arent even sure whats what or what comes with what, or even the features the figures have. (I think Griptogg has a second face, let me check on camera.) Is it really that hard to take five minutes to look over the figures and set the pieces out in front of you before you film them? You keep saying you don’t have time whenever you film, so I think it would help you speed things up dramatically when filming instead of acting like you literally saw the figures and accessories for the 1st time 30 seconds after you turned on the camera.
I am sorry the video did not meet your expectations. I am not a professional and I am guilty as charged. I did if fact see the action figures about 30 seconds before I turned on the camera and I did have to squeeze the sneak peek / review into a very short window of time during which I was interrupted more than once by folks who were randomly passing through the area. Someone else was actually supposed to do the review, and when that fell through, I ended up being a last minute replacement. I basically got a bunch of figures in a box and I had to do it completely off the cuff. Four Horsemen Toy Design is studio is busy place and there were a bunch of people visiting that day. If I had been able to do the video at my leisure and if I had been given more information, I’m sure I would have done a better job.
Thank you for the reply, and thank you for allowing my critique to remain.
Once more, I was not criticizing your filming skills or the interuptions, as I could only imagine what trying to do a review in a working environment is like.
I was just suggesting if time is short laying out and looking over things before you film so everything is within grasp, and you can bang things out one after another which would shorten the video, and make things easier for you since you wouldnt have to hold a camera on a figure while trying to search blindly with the other hand for parts or look over the figure for the first time while on camera and then have to sit and think of a comment while you are filming.
I thank you for taking the time to give fans a preview, so if I came off as harsh, that wasnt the intent, as it was just suggestions on speeding up the video and to make things easier for you. I don’t want this to come off as a back and forth between us and take away from what are going to be great figures, so feel free to delete all my comments once you read this.
No problem. I agree with your assessment. It’s a fair one. If I do another video review in the future I will definitely keep all of your suggestions in mind.
